Miss World contestants' itinerary to promote rural tourism:

May 12: Visit to Buddhavanam and Buddhist Theme Park at Nagarjuna Sagar, a spiritual tourism landmark. May 14: Explore the historic Thousand Pillar Temple and Warangal Fort in Warangal, followed by a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ramappa Temple. Witness the traditional Perini Shivatandavam dance performance.

This global event will provide unprecedented exposure to Telangana’s rural tourism destinations, highlighting the state's cultural heritage, historical narratives, and modern development. Speaking about the Buddhavanam and Buddhist Theme park located near Nagarjuna Sagar, officials said this serene complex celebrates Buddhist culture and spirituality. Featuring Buddha statues, stupas, and meditation halls, the theme park vividly depicts Buddha's life, teachings, and art. It promotes mental peace through meditation and yoga programs while boosting cultural exchange and tourism.
