Man will pay tribute to his father with mammoth fundraising effort

A HULL man will don his running shoes in an effort to raise money for a charity next month as he plans to run a half-marathon every day for 25 days.

Kallum Findley, 27, will begin his fundraising efforts on August 13, the day of his 28th birthday in a bid to generate funds for a good cause while also paying tribute to his late father. Tragically, Kallum’s father Gavin passed away 25 years ago when he was participating in the Great North Run, billed as the world’s biggest half-marathon. The race is known as an arduous course which has sadly claimed the lives of several runners over the years.
