Missing since Jan 1, Chhattisgarh journalist's body found in a tank

A 28-year-old journalist was found murdered on Friday in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district, two days after he went missing while reportedly on his way to meet the brother of a local road contractor.
Mukesh Chandrakar, who worked with news channel NDTV and ran a local YouTube channel in Bastar, went missing on January 1 in the Maoist-affected Bijapur district, prompting his brother to file a missing person's report on Thursday.
Police traced his last-known mobile phone location to the premises of a local contractor, Suresh Chandrakar, and dug his body out of a freshly sealed septic tank covered with a concrete slab on Friday, a police official said on condition of anonymity.
