The Rajasthan high court dismissed a petition on Wednesday challenging the state's decision to deny bonus marks for yoga participation in the recruitment process for Physical Training Instructor (PTI) Grade III.

JODHPUR: The court upheld the state's stand that yoga does not qualify as a sport, citing a 2016 notification from the ministry of youth affairs and sports, which explicitly states that since competitive tournaments cannot be held for yoga, it cannot be categorised as a sport.
