Farmers' welfare key to dream of a developed Raj: CM

JAIPUR: Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Friday emphasised the vital role of farmers in shaping the future of Rajasthan.

Addressing a gathering at a Kissan Sammelan the chief minister called farmers the "true sons of Mother Earth" and acknowledged their indispensable contribution to the state's prosperity.

"Our food provider, the farmer, is the true son of Mother Earth. Only when the farmer is prosperous and thriving will the dream of a developed Rajasthan be realised," he said.

"The government is fully committed to the welfare of farmers and livestock keepers, working diligently towards improving their livelihoods," Sharma added.

The CM assured that whenever their welfare is at stake, the state government will always stand by them.

"The government will continue to prioritize the welfare of farmers, and we will always support you in your efforts to thrive," he said, reinforcing the government's resolve to empower the agricultural sector.
