LJP(RV) Wants Chirag to Contest From Unreserved Seats in Bihar Polls

Weeks after Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief and Union minister Chirag Paswan expressed his desire to rejoin state politics, his brother-in-law and party's MP from Jamui Arun Bharti on Sunday posted a message on X calling up on the former to contest the Assembly election from an unreserved seat.

Bharti, also in-charge of party's affairs in Bihar, said the state executive panel had endorsed Paswan's wish to contest the Assembly elections. "Paswan always says that his politics is Bihar-centric and his vision 'Bihar First, Bihari First' is a resolution for a developed and self-reliant Bihar. This is possible only when he himself stays in Bihar and leads the organisation," added Bharti on X.
