Robert Dex BRITAIN'S youngest Olympic medallist, Sky Brown, says she is inspired to reach even greater heights because boys at the skatepark still doubt her.
The 15-year-old skateboarding prodigy took home a bronze medal for Great Britain at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 when she was just 13 years and 28 days old and is going for gold in Paris this summer.
She told ES Magazine that, despite shining on the biggest of stages, she still gets "the look" from boys at the skatepark. She said: "It's like, 'Why is she here? Why is this little girl here?' I've been around since I was really tiny, I was this little girl showing up at the skatepark.
"And of course these big boys are going to look at me, but honestly I just want to show them what's up. If they give me that look, it just makes me pumped up." The teenager has long been destined for stardom in the sport.
