Young Big Noise performers enjoy their moment in the spotlight

A group of 30 young musicians from Big Noise Wester Hailes-a community music and social change project-appeared side-by-side with professional counterparts at the city's Usher Hall earlier this month.

Led by RSNO conductor Patrick Hahn, the joint orchestra performed Big Noise favourite Mission Mars by Joelle Broad, along with The Journey Begins by Keith Ramsey, written for the Wester Hailes children.
