Ottery gang fight claims life of alleged Mongrels dik ding

THE alleged leader of the Mongrels gang was shot in the face and later died during a dramatic shootout in Ottery on Saturday.

A firefight broke out between the Mongrels and the No Fear gangs in a turf war in die vroë oggendure.

According to reports, the Mongrels chased down alleged No Fear member Keanan America and then turned their guns on arriving City of Cape Town Law Enforcement officers.

That's when alleged Mongrels dik ding Ameerodien Du Plooy was shot in the face. America succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to a nearby hospital, while Du Plooy was also declared dead at a medical facility.
