KING Charles is spending a week at Balmoral to mourn in private for his mother.
The new monarch flew into Scotland yesterday by private jet and will carry out no public duties for seven days.
It is believed he and Queen Consort Camilla will stay at Birkhall, their home seven miles from the castle, where the Queen died 13 days ago.

KING Charles III flew into Scotland for a period of private mourning yesterday after the passing of his mother Queen Elizabeth.
The country was united in grief on Monday as the funeral of the monarch took place.
Yesterday morning, Charles left RAF Northolt near London on a private jet with the Queen Consort Camilla by his side.
The new King flew to Aberdeen Airport, landing about noon. He then travelled by chauffeur-driven car to Balmoral, arriving in nearby Ballater at 1.30pm.
The Royal Family will continue mourning for another week and will perform no public duties over the same period.
