Falkirk odds-on favourites to keep feelgood factor going with win over struggling Lions

FALKIRK'S incredible rise is showing no sign of slowing and a win today at home to Livingston would see them soar up to third in the top flight.

When you consider the Bairns were playing in the third tier just two years ago, they've been moving up the ladder faster than Robin Askwith in Confessions of a Window Cleaner.

After back-to-back promotions, John McGlynn and his players would no doubt have bitten your hand off just to finish in 10th place this season.

But a run of three wins in their last four Premiership games has fired Falkirk up to fifth and McBookie make them 17/20 favourites today at home to bottom club Livingston.

The Lions also came up from the Championship in the summer and I thought they would do well after making some decent signings.

Livi got off a great start, following up a draw at Rugby Park with a home win over the Bairns, but have since gone 10 games without a win.

It looked like David Martindale's men were heading for a third loss in a row last weekend against Hibs before Graham Carey salvaged a point with a last-gasp penalty.

Livingston will be hoping that's a turning point in their season and Martindale can take some heart from their recent record against Falkirk.
