THE Court of Appeal was yesterday told the Nottingham rampage killer must serve time in prison.
The plea came as the heartbroken families of Valdo Calocane's victims repeated their calls for a public inquiry.
Calocane has been given an indefinite hospital order for stabbing Grace O'Malley-Kumar and Barnaby Webber, both 19, and caretaker Ian Coates, 65.
But Deanna Heer KC told the hearing Calocane should be given a life sentence as part of a hybrid order, which would mean he was treated in hospital before then being transferred to prison.
