The waitress is seeking at least £10,000 in damages from Billy Shiel's Boat Trips following her charter tour, which was not filmed for TV.
The Newcastle-based company runs boat trips to the Farne Islands off Northumberland to spot the archipelago's puffins, terns, guillemots and eider ducks.
The firm has also featured on ITV's Tales From Northumberland with Robson Green.
