Tributes paid as boy, 14, dies in crash near farm

(Leon Arundel)

Emergency services were called to reports of a collision near a farm in the Llangynog area between Carmarthen and St Clears last Wednesday afternoon.

The boy, who has been named as Leon Arundel, was taken to hospital but passed away from his injuries the following day.

Leon played junior rugby for the Carmarthen Quins under-15 side. A minute's silence was planned to be held before the club's first team match on Saturday, with a number one shirt representing the position Leon played laid on the pitch as a mark of respect.
