Thais make semis despite Myanmar draw

Thailand secured their place in the Asean U23 Championship semifinals after a goalless draw with Myanmar at Patriot Stadium in Jakarta on Tuesday night gave them the top spot in Group C.
In a match of few chances, Thailand captain Seksan Ratree went closest to breaking the deadlock with a second-half effort, which rocked the Myanmar crossbar.
Myanmar also had their chances but Sa Khant Chaw and Than Toe Aung were both denied by Thailand goalkeeper Sorawat Phosaman.
