Tanmaya Bhatnagar: 'I Truly Believe That Women Can Change the World'

The singer-songwriter recently performed at Rolling Stone India's Women in Creativity event in Mumbai

The last time we interviewed New Delhi singer-songwriter Tanmaya Bhatnagar was when she released her four-track debut EP Wherever I Go, I’d Like To Be All I Need in 2021. Since then, she tells us that she’s been growing and evolving both as a person and an artist. She says, “[I’ve been] traveling, figuring things out, figuring life out and of course creating a lot of music and poetry to put out and most importantly writing a lot for myself. Being an artist is truly an emotional ride and I think now I’m knee-deep in it.”

Bhatnagar – who performed at Rolling Stone India’s Women in Creativity event in Mumbai this past May – talks to us about what it was like to be part of it, her set at Lollapalooza India earlier this year, her latest release and more. Read below.
