A PASSION FOR PIANO

Mumbai-based Rahul Wadhwani was just six-years-old when he started playing on a toy keyboard. A self-taught musician until he was 18, he enrolled in an engineering course post 12th grade while also beginning formal training in western and classical music.

With the course reaching its completion, Rahul realized that he wanted to learn more about music, especially what was happening outside of his bubble. "I asked my dad to give me two or three years to figure it out to truly understand what it takes to become a musician.

When he said yes, I went to Pune to continue my classical studies. This is also where I learned more about jazz and the blues and from the first moment, I knew this was what I wanted to study and do with my life!"
