NO-ONE LIKES PLAYING A RASCAL MORE THAN THE BRIT, WHO NEVER LETS US DOWN ON SCREEN
HUGH GRANT - 'BEING A BADDIE SUITS ME'

Whether he had us cringing for his lovelorn William Thacker in Notting Hill, rooting for his naughty but endearing Daniel Cleaver in the Bridget Jones franchise, or giving us butterflies as the handsome Prime Minister in Love Actually, Hugh Grant has nailed every character he’s portrayed. Not that the British film veteran would know it.

He tells WHO that despite his brilliant catalogue of work, he can’t bear to watch himself on the big screen. “If something I am in comes on, I change the channel. It gives me absolutely no pleasure whatsoever to watch myself,” he says. “Maybe accidentally late at night in a drunken moment when I’m channel hopping. But generally, watching myself on screen is horrifying to me.”

Perhaps his new film opposite Jerry Seinfeld, Unfrosted, or the upcoming fourth instalment of Bridget Jones might change his mind?
