All Strung Out

Born in the 90s, only to fall out of favour, the threaded lift has had a 21st-century makeover, promising an instant facelift with natural-looking results and no surgery required

All Strung Out

We all want to look our best. This is a natural part of life – and a feeling that heightens as we get older, when we notice a little sagging here and a little wrinkle there. While there is a lot to be said for allowing one’s body to age both gracefully and naturally, there are now so many options when it comes to adapting our features and retaining our youth, that it can be difficult to resist our curiosity. Cosmetic surgery has become increasingly popular and the industry is constantly proffering safer, more affordable, convenient and less obvious ways to tweak what our mama gave us. And the threaded lift is one of these.

Threaded facelifts rose to fame through the media, having been featured on TV programmes including The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Doctors  and The Steve Harvey Show. Those in the entertainment industry are no strangers to cosmetic overhauls, with plenty of famous folk having undergone conventional surgical facelifts. And the threaded variety, which might not last as long as its surgical counterpart, is the more affordable option.
