Juan Foyth - Q&A

Continuing our Q&A feature for this season – using the year of the Club’s formation as inspiration – as we ask our players to choose 18 lifestyle questions from a selection of 82. This evening it’s the turn of Juan Foyth to take the hotseat.

1 What was your first holiday abroad?

Juan: “It was to the Dominican Republic. I went there for 10 days.”

2 What is the best advice you have been given?

Juan: “In Argentina, in my early days in football, I was told to have my head cold but my heart hot. Basically, to be calm but play with passion.”

3 If you could sit yourself down with your 16-year-old self, what advice would you give yourself?

Juan: “Just to always be happy.”

4 If you could go back in time to anywhere – where would you go?

Juan: “I would go back to the summer of 2014. That’s when my, now, wife, became my girlfriend.”

5 What is your favourite smell?

Juan: “I love the smell of a BBQ. Especially when a steak is cooked on one.”
