FEATURE CRICHLOW SET TO BE THROWIN INTO ARGYLE’S STARTING XI
CHRIS ERRINGTON
READY TO FEATURE

ON-LOAN defender Romoney Crichlow is ready to compete for a first team place at Plymouth Argyle, manager Steven Schumacher has declared.

The 22-year-old from Huddersfield Town is one of two signings made by Schumacher so far during the January transfer window, with the other one being midfielder Alfie Lewis.

Crichlow completed his move to Argyle last Thursday and both he and Lewis were unused substitutes for the Pilgrims' 4-2 League One defeat away to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

It will Lewis take a couple of weeks to get his fitness levels up after last playing for Dublin-based St Patrick's Athletic, whose 2021 season in Ireland ended in November.
