A miss Ireland contestant has told how her work with cancer patients taught her the importance of physical exercise.
Qualified paediatric physio and pilates instructor Caoimhe Gibney wants to use her platform representing Meath in the pageant to make others aware of how exercise can prevent disease and help people live a better life.
The beauty queen said after working in the Hospice in Harold’s Cross Dublin, she was shocked at how many diseases could be prevented if physical exercise was prescribed.
Caoimhe, 24, told the Irish Mirror: “It was an awful lot of life experience working in the hospice.
