Dark Blues must be cup for it and try to make Mark

JIM DUFFY guided Dundee to their last two cup finals in separate spells as manager and reckons the only way Mark McGhee can hope to follow in his footsteps is by having a real go at Rangers.

Duffy led the Dens Park outfit to the 1995 League Cup Final and the Scottish Cup showpiece eight years later.

Although the Dark Blues lost both, he reckons the experience for players and fans alike was unforgettable.

And while this side have a relegation fight on their hands, with a clash against St Mirren next up tomorrow, he believes Dee must use this Sunday's quarter-final as an opportunity to ignite McGhee's reign after two defeats and two draws from his first four games.
