Brit's Death Row Marriage Bid Branded ‘Beyond Sick'

The British gran who hopes to wed an American triple murderer on death row has been branded “beyond sick” by the mother of one of his victims.

Michele German, 46, has previously admitted she has an “obsession” with John Lotter, saying she would marry him “in a heartbeat”.

She first heard about Lotter when she was 22 after he was sentenced.

Now a grandmother of four, she has closely followed his case and eventually wrote him a letter three years ago.

Convinced of his innocence, she even runs Lotter’s Facebook page from her home in West Lothian, where she regularly exchanges letters, emails and phone calls with the killer.

And now she is asking strangers to crowdfund a flight to Nebraska so she can meet him for the first time.

But the mum of victim Brandon Teena says the “deluded” former carer is a “crazy bitch” who has been “sucked in” by Lotter.

“I hope she’s never allowed to step foot in America,” JoAnn Brandon, 62, said from her home in Nebraska.
