TORIES finally turned on Boris Johnson yesterday as he faces a probe into claims he lied over No10 parties.
With the PM in India, veteran MPs called on him to quit.
One, Steve Baker, said: The PM should know the gig's up.
MPS’INDIAN MUTINY. PARTYGATE: PROBE STITCH-UP BY DOWNING ST DERATED. FURIOUS & FEARFUL TORY BACKBENCHERS LEAD COVER-UP U-TURN. PM'S AUTHORITY IS DRAINING AWAY AS HE TOURS SÚB-CONTINENT.
BORIS Johnson will return from the Indian sun to face even more heat after the Tories' mood over his Partygate excuses changed dramatically.
With the PM now facing a probe on accusations he repeatedly lied to Parliament by denying boozy get-togethers took place, two veteran MPs and a peer joined the growing list of those calling for him to quit.

The mutiny was led by Steve Baker who said during a Commons debate on the investigation vote: “The Prime Minister should know the gig's up.
