Tears As Dad Reunited With Children

These heartwarming pictures show the moment a dad is reunited with his three children after 12 weeks apart due to the coronavirus lockdown.

Claire Sharman gave Sophy, nine, Cian, eight, and three-year-old Isla the best surprise ever when she told them a plumber would come to their home.

As Cian suffers from a rare genetic condition, she said they had to don hazmat-style suits and masks to protect themselves for last week’s visit.

But the youngsters were thrilled once they realised the stranger was actually their dad, Ben Shard, 36, whom they haven’t seen since March 8.

Claire, 31, is a full-time carer for Cian whose condition makes him prone to epilepsy. She said the family had decided to keep their distance but the children would usually see their father every other weekend.
