Kamal Pant clearly recalls the summer sky above his home in Dehradun when he was just five years old. It was a sight from the heavens that set him off on the life-altering path to make contact with extraterrestrial beings decades later.
Speaking about his first ‘sighting’, Pant, 39, says he saw a large orb of bright red light in the sky when he lay on his terrace that day. The light was stationary and there was no noise, he says, adding that his grandmother also was witness to it. The air was still, Pant says—the same stillness he experienced again in a dream about the bright light years later. “It was not just a dream or a hallucination, it felt like I was reliving the moment,” says Pant.
After 2010, Pant intensified his research on UFOs and signs of extraterrestrial life. He believes in peaceful communication. As much as he believes in the existence of extraterrestrials, he believes they mean no harm. He specialises in the CE-5 protocol (close encounters of the fifth kind) where humans try to initiate contact with non-human intelligence.
The universal CE-5 protocol involves multiple steps, starting with finding a quiet spot to meditate. With breathing and meditation, the person mentally projects a message of love, friendship and intentions to make contact with the extraterrestrials. This process may go on for hours, with multiple attempts needed before the person experiences any sort of communication or visual phenomenon.
