Since 1839, Patek Philippe has mastered traditional Genevan watchmaking artistry, with full creative freedom to design watches that aficionados consider to be the world’s finest.
The chronograph has always been on top of Patek Philippe’s line-up of complicated watches. In 2005, a complete range of chronograph movements, with or without additional functions, was developed by the manufacture. It was during this year that Patek Philippe launched calibre CHR 27-525 PS, the world’s thinnest split-second chronograph movement.
Fast forward to the present, where a collection of Patek Philippe chronograph calibres is offered in more than 20 variations. This year, three variations of the 5204, 5905 and 5930 models have been released, fortifying Patek Philippe’s expertise in the field of complications, particularly in the measurement of short times.
