It’s not difficult to spot Amiera Raushan in a crowded room – she’s the short-haired girl with the most colourful outfits and the brightest smile. The 27-year-old digital marketer and photographer for creative agency Elementary Co. has made a name for herself on Instagram for her bold #ootds, the clashes of colour, style and volume, somehow falling nicely together on her.
In an attempt to sum up her personal style, Amiera comes up with words such as “experimental, quirky, colourful and comfortable”. One might find an eclectic mix of muses on her fashion pin board, from Simone Rocha’s statement-making looks and Solange Knowles’ urban-alt vibe to Rachel Greene of ’90s sitcom Friends.
“When I was in arts school, I was completely dressed in bohemian attire. Then, my style got pretty minimalist after I graduated. And now, I’m all about being bold, volume and colour,” she says, charting her style journey before adding: “One thing that stayed constant – sneakers!”
