Silently humming past a ribbon of tarmac, the e-tron—Audi’s flagship electric SUV now rechristened the Q8 e-tron—has a decidedly uncinematic approach to driving past mountains. It leaves no thundering V8 echo in its wake, unlike its extroverted cousin, the RS Q8. In fact it leaves nothing in its wake other than a whiff of bewilderment over how something so large and so festive-looking can disappear into the horizon with such stealth.
