The new solar panels at the International French School (Singapore) are expected to generate over 900 megawatt-hours (MWh) of renewable electricity annually for the school's operations.
In harnessing the sun's power, IFS aims to produce the same amount of clean electricity annually as the average consumption of around 200 households in Singapore. This, they say, will result in an expected reduction of 350 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year, representing a significant stride towards embracing renewable energy and reducing their carbon footprint.
