A Good Balance Between Self-Control And Self-Love

If you were to rank the following priority wise, how would you rank them?

a) Health b) Wealth c) Success d) Fame e) Love f) Friends

What are your top 5 fitness rules?

Drink water, it is a must.

If you have to be fit, you have to be active in the kitchen. Eighty percent of how your body behaves is due to what you do in the kitchen, twenty percent is workout.

A form of workout that you enjoy doing; it can be anything - dancing, playing tennis, football or jogging/ running.

Regular hours of sleep.

A good balance between self-control and self-love. You must worship your body.

What is your fitness mantra?

My fitness mantra is to be disciplined. I make sure that I get regular sleep; self-love is equally important. It is always good to combine that with workouts, because your body needs a smack in the face every once in a while.

TRX, yoga, cardio and stretches are crucial. Your body gets used to a regular workout, so it is good to introduce your body to different forms of workout once in a while.

And of course, people always want to know what one move is best for the whole body. Is there that one move?

No, not really. You need to work out every single muscle. The closest is sun salutations. But that ain’t enough, you need to engage every muscle in your body.

Three tried and tested workouts for weight loss..

A combination of all these – HIIT, sun salutations, TRX, weight training (twice a week). Stretches are important after every form of workout you do; if you do not stretch, your body gets stiff.
