In an ideal world you could choose the exact institution that you wanted to study and you would also get to study exactly what your heart desired. However, in the real world it is a fairly complex process which would finally lead to an optimum decision for your career and your life.

Preparing for the simplest of exams can fill us with dread and anxiety. However, the energy drain and stress can only be imagined if you have done backbreaking work for several years to crack just one “entrance examination”. While you may have prepared arduously for the entrance examination, very few students actually do the research required to find out more about choices and decisions they will be required to make after the results are declared and ranking list announced. It is useful to remember that the time provided to make your choices during counselling will be limited to a few days. Thus, doing your research early on can be useful.
