My nickname is… the Bullet. I was nicknamed the Bath Bullet after I broke the European record when winning a bronze medal in the World Indoor Championships in 1999 so it stems from there.
My biggest challenge was… trying to achieve my childhood dream of being an Olympic champion. It took 20 years from the age of seven to when I won gold in the Athens Olympics in 2004. I never knew when I started out that goal would take so long!
‘MY WEAKNESS IS BEING TOO TRUSTING’
My perfect evening is… a nice evening walk before going to one of our favourite pubs or a restaurant. Enjoying some dinner on a terrace overlooking some beautiful countryside and lots of wine. Then back home to watch a movie.
