Coleen's court battle will ‘get nasty'

Lizzie Cundy tells Coleen Rooney will be feeling “upset” as it’s revealed Rebekah Vardy is taking her to court

The ongoing war between Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy went up a notch last week when it was revealed Becky is now taking their feud to the High Court – despite Coleen’s wish to resolve their differences with a face-to-face chat.

It was reported Becky, 38, believes Coleen, 34, libelled her when she claimed online that Becky’s Instagram account was responsible for leaking stories to the press – which Becky denies.

And although Coleen’s legal team has told new she’d hoped to sort things out without going to court, her pal and former WAG Lizzie Cundy, 52, now believes the mum-of-four won’t go down without a fight as she was so hurt when the stories first appeared.

“Coleen was so upset, that’s why she did all this detective work,” Lizzie tells us. “It affected her family because these stories were coming out constantly about her. They’ve both got young families and court is very stressful.”
