According to exclusive documents obtained by The National ENQUIRER, Ryan and Kristina Newman split in 2019 after she was caught having an affair with another man and paying her lover $450,000!
Now “Rocket Man” Ryan’s pit-bull lawyers are trying to freeze Kristina — once referred to as the “First Lady of NASCAR” — out of his fortune!
The couple announced they were separating on Feb. 13, just four days before Ryan’s brush with death on the track and weeks after their 16th wedding anniversary.
But court papers reveal the two actually split in July 2019, when Kristina went to live with her boyfriend — who The ENQUIRER can reveal is former U.S. Army Captain Joe Schwankhaus.
On the website LinkedIn, Joe lists himself as Chief Operations Officer of Kristina’s company, VRX USA.
Kristina, 42, filed for divorce in North Carolina in August, after living apart from Ryan, also 42, for a year, as required by state law.
