Aparshakti Khurana’s face lights up when you speak about his daughter, Arzoie A Khurana who was born on August 27 this year. The new father hasn’t slept at all in days but it doesn’t matter any more. “Firstly, she doesn’t sleep and daughters are special, you know? I just want to keep looking at her. I don’t take off from work normally, but now I feel like staying at home,” says the beaming actor.

The actor and his wife, entrepreneur Aakriti Ahuja are currently in Chandigarh. The couple decided to move to the city from Mumbai as they felt it would be safer for their newborn. “Very early into the pregnancy, we had shifted to Chandigarh and made up our mind that this is where we want to deliver and stay for a few months because it is safer for the baby. So, yes, it was a difficult call but having said that, everything went off smoothly,” he says.
