A brief overview of the The LeMan’s Collection of Toy Soldiers

A.J. Mergenthaler
Gone But Not Forgotten

The LeMan’s Collection was an American toy soldier manufacturer that was the brain-child of James Man of Amarillo, Texas. He loved America and the soldiers and individuals that fought, lived and served from the French & Indian War through the early 1890s. Foreign wars involving the United States did not hold an attraction for him. So with the exception of the French & Indian War all of the figures he produced were men of the wars that were fought domestically.
