Dedicated to Phule-Shahu-Ambedkar (Progressive) Movement, 'The People's Post' is the only 'No Profit-No Loss' fortnightly in Maharashtra. The movement that The People's Post has taken since its inception is a bold one. The tower of 'The People's Post' stands on the triad of freedom, equality and fraternity. All the dignitaries of the progressive movement in Maharashtra write for 'The People's Post'.
Through 'The People's Post', the writers and intellectuals of Maharashtra have got a platform for expression. From the very first issue of 'People's Post' till today, People's Post has never compromised on its principles. 'The People's Post' has been doing the work of demolishing the established, humanitarian system since the beginning. In short, people are posting the work of 'Untala Nadaychaya'.
The release ceremony of 'The People's Post' was held on 29th August 2018 in Mumbai (Ravindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi) with great pomp. Former Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and current President of All India Congress Mr. Mallikarjun Kharge, Former Union Home Minister Shri. Sushilkumar Shinde, former chairman of University Grants Commission Professor Sukhdev Thorat, senior thinker Dr. Raosaheb Kasbe, director Shri Nagaraj Manjule. These dignitaries were present there. Since its inception, 'The People's Post' has enjoyed public support. A fortnight like 'The People's Post' is operating on the net in these dire times.

फुले-शाहू-आंबेडकर (पुरोगामी) चळवळीला वाहिलेलं, महाराष्ट्रातील ‘द पीपल्स पोस्ट’ हे एकमेव ‘ना नफा-ना तोटा’ तत्वावर चालणारं पाक्षिक आहे . सुरवातीपासून द पीपल्स पोस्टने जी चळवळीची भूमिका घेतलेली आहे, ती निर्भीड आहे. स्वातंत्र्य, समता, बंधुता या त्रिसूत्रीवर ‘द पीपल्स पोस्ट’चा मनोरा उभा आहे. महाराष्ट्रातील पुरोगामी चळवळीतील सर्व मान्यवर ‘द पीपल्स पोस्ट’साठी आवर्जून लिहितात. ‘द पीपल्स पोस्ट’च्या माध्यमातून महाराष्ट्रातील लेखकांना, विचारवंतांना अभिव्यक्तीचं व्यासपीठ मिळालेलं आहे. ‘पीपल्स पोस्ट’च्या पहिल्या अंकापासून आजतागायत कधीही पीपल्स पोस्टने तत्वाशी तडजोड केलेली नाही. प्रस्थापित, मनुवादी व्यवस्थेचा उंट पाडण्याचं कामं सुरवातीपासून ‘द पीपल्स पोस्ट’ करीत आहे. थोडक्यात, ‘उंटाला नडायचं’ काम पीपल्स पोस्ट करीत आहे.

‘द पीपल्स पोस्ट’ चा प्रकाशन सोहळा २९ ऑगस्ट २०१८ रोजी मुंबई येथील (रवींद्र नाट्य मंदिर, प्रभादेवी ) येथे अत्यंत थाटात झाला होता. लोकसभेचे माजी विरोधी पक्षनेते आणि सध्याचे अखिल भारतीय काँग्रेसचे अध्यक्ष श्री.मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे, माजी केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री श्री. सुशीलकुमार शिंदे, विद्यापीठ अनुदान आयोगाचे माजी अध्यक्ष प्रोफेसर सुखदेव थोरात, ज्येष्ठ विचारवंत डॉ. रावसाहेब कसबे, दिग्दर्शक श्री नागराज मंजुळे यांच्या हस्ते झाला होता. सुरवातीपासूनच ‘द पीपल्स पोस्ट’ला लोकांचा गराडा लाभलेला आहे. या भयभीत काळात ‘द पीपल्स पोस्ट’सारखे पाक्षिक नेटाने काम करीत आहे.

‘द पीपल्स पोस्ट’चे संपादक मा.चेतन शिंदे यांच्या कल्पनेतून जन्माला आलेलं हे ‘द पीपल्स पोस्ट’चं रोपटं, वटवृक्षाकडे वाटचाल करीत आहे.
