State PSUs proving white elephants - Irregularities and non-performance of the State PSUs have caused a loss of thousands of crores of rupees to the exchequer, says a recent CAG report.

Indicating a bleak scenario of State public sector undertakings, the CAG in its latest report has rapped the Governments of Bihar, UP, AP, Telangana, Punjab and Haryana for their “pathetic” condition.
