Welcome to GW314 – our first issue of 2017. Aleksei Sebastiani shares the story of how he turned disaster into triumph during the making of his stunning dead-edge end table; Thomas de Bos shows you how to make a fun wooden aeroplane with a working propeller; Phil Davy makes an attractive symmetrically patterned table lamp, and Les Thorne turns a wonderful bowl inspired by the vivid colours of the cenote lakes in Mexico.
