I am about to write the editor’s letter but my thoughts are all over the place. Checking the news sites, flipping through magazines or just letting thoughts to take me places... Wasting time?
Let’s talk about what do we call a waste of time. Is looking through your favorite artist book a waste of time? What about listening to podcasts, going to a show or even just taking a moment to appreciate a beautiful fresh day? Or perhaps this time spent is giving you the knowledge, inspiration or just pure joy? These days we push ourselves so hard that a moment of self-treat started to be considered as a waste of time.
Let’s not judge ourselves too hard and remember that life, as well as creating, was meant to be enjoyed.
