The homemade chocolate industry in the country comprises the organised as well as the unorganised sector. Even in the organised sector we have homemade chocolates. They are called so simply because they are not mass produced but are made in batches of a few kilograms. The homemade chocolates are generally different from the mass produced industrial chocolates in the sense that they usually have less sweetness and smoother texture than mass produced chocolates, and they are often spruced with exotic fillings.
