I’ve never had Trouble making friends. Despite being an introvert, I’ve always managed to reel in a group of stragglers and fellow wallflowers. Growing up, there was never any shortage of similarly aged kids around to play with. By age 12 I had a group of nine ride-or-die friends, most of whom still have my back to this day.

When you’re young, you take for granted how easy it is to make friends, especially in college. Introduce alcohol and a similar taste in music into the equation, and anyone can be your best friend. You build your friendship on a cocktail of proximity and repeated interactions, and you’re all set.
