A national social mobility charity that started out in the Hastings and Bexhill area is celebrating 10 years of helping disadvantaged teenagers in Sussex.
Cambridge-based charity Villiers Park Educational Trust launched its first-ever Scholars Programme in Hastings and Bexhill in 2009. The four-year program supports high ability students from less advantaged backgrounds to reach their full potential, helping them overcome some of the major barriers to success.
