DISHA PATANI HAS BROKEN THE INTERNET several times since she ascended to the throne of It-Girl-dom in the short time since her debut in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. Sexy selfies, killer dance moves, a selfless love for animals and that sunshine personality make it pretty easy for everyone to succumb to her vivacious, larger-than-life vibe. She recently wrapped up filming Baaghi 2 opposite Tiger Shroff, and we caught up with her between shots for a quick chat, Maxim-style.
Welcome to Maxim, Disha! Hope you had fun doing this shoot?
It was so good! The shoot went so well and so fast. It was raining very heavily in Mumbai that day, it was just one of those days. But we had so much fun trying different looks. The results are so young and cool and sexy. I really loved my whole shoot experience.
It’s pretty early in the day right now. Are early mornings your thing?
It depends. Sometimes we have to wake up as early as 4.30 am for shoots. And I wake up earlier because I like to work out before the shoot—I can’t work out at night. Today, I woke up a little late, though.
So you’re a morning person—lucky you. We hear you’re a fitness fiend, too?
Yeah, but right now I don’t have the proper equipment here at the hotel; they don’t have a proper gym. I keep two activities a day—I do cardio in the form of dance or kick-boxing and, in the evenings, I usually do weight training to gain some muscle.
You’re super fit, and you exude positivity. Tell us the secret because we’d really like to try it out.
