So you’ve got to the bar and there’s an open spot next to a girl. Kaching! Go stand next to her and order a drink for yourself. Instead of beginning a conversation at first go, play it cool. Look around. Move your head to the music. Watch the room and then notice her. Look into her eyes and smile. Raise your glass and say cheers. Have an opening line. Speak to at least three women that night. Make a random conversation with the girl like this is the first time you’ve come out in months so you’re getting used to the music. Laugh at her jokes. Crack a silly joke about yourself. Move your ear closer to her face to hear her. Then slide your body minimally closer. If she responds by moving her body closer to you then she’s into you, if not she’ll move away. Get back to your drink but anchor yourself there till someone new comes along.
