The Rising Rage For Social Media- Pretty or scary?

Key developments in information, advances in communication, the emergence of social media, the pace of change is surely accelerating in the nation. The biggest being, the development of mobile technology followed by the increased rage for social media. With everyone's hands set on their smartphones, we all enjoy a connection with the world all across.

Right from sharing pictures to opinions to events, Social Media has made it as quick as a click. Applications like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram have come forth as game-changing tools today. Not only our personal lives, professionally too, Social Media has changed the entire business game. With organizations vastly engaging in social media as part of their marketing strategies, this tool is proving to be successful. When it first started, who knew that people today would spend tons of dollars on Social media campaigns? Way back, marketing was usually restricted to newspapers and television, social media has brought in positive changes, for it's easy to handle and grab more attention than any other medium.

Today, Social media is an integral part of our society and one can't surely thank this platform enough for acting as such a great medium for connecting people, disseminating information across, building relationships, voicing an opinion and so much more. Moreover, politicians, actors, social activists, musicians, everyone being so active on social media platforms these days further makes it an easy world.

Social media takes most of our daily lives with our eyes glued to random Facebook pages, Instagram posts, Tweets and Snapchat posts all day. This further puts us at the risk of getting affected by the negative outcomes. Cyberbullying, sharing of personal information, decreased productivity, cut off from loved ones are some of them.

Are we still human?
