Though Engal Anna was the last film he acted in, in a pivotal role in Tamil, he has always been present in the industry as a producer, choreographer or a director. He is coming back on screen after a few years and that’s great news for all the fans out there. Yes, the person is none other than Prabhu Deva. Moreover, he has also undergone a makeover for this movie. He is making an on screen appearance after a long time with Devi(L). Starring Tamannaah, Prabhu Deva and Sonu Sood, Devi(L) is directed by Vijay. This film will see Amy Jackson and Farah Khan also in cameo appearances. The story is written by Vijay and co-written by Hollywood filmmaker Paul Aaron. G. V. Prakash Kumar, Sajid-Wajid and Vishal have scored music for the songs and the background score is by Gopi Sundar. The film is to be released by Auraa Cinemas.
With bilingual and trilingual movies being the new fad of the season, Devi(L) is no exception. With a great star cast, it is a smart move to make a trilingual instead of dubbing and releasing the movie. Apart from enhancing the quality, it gives a regional touch to the audiences. The movie is made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The Telugu version is titled as Abhinetri. The movie has a slice of regional flavour of each state, so that the audiences from the respective industries enjoy it.
