The Marotta Brothers Band is a group featuring Rick and Jerry Marotta, double drumming. We do mostly covers of tunes that Rick and Jerry recorded on. Rick has played on albums by Steely Dan, Aretha Franklin, James Taylor, and others, while Jerry has toured and recorded with Peter Gabriel, Hall & Oates, and more. My dad, Jon Zeeman, is on guitar, with Joanne Cassidy on vocals, Sam Rothberg on keys, and myself on bass. I’m about to head up to Martha’s Vineyard where we will be kicking off our third summer doing a weekly residency.
